You’ll only need crunchy and delicious GOYA® Maria Cookies, along with a few more ingredients like dark chocolate, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and dried cranberries.

good-quality dark chocolate, finely chopped
½ pkg. (3.5 oz.)
GOYA® Chocolate Maria Cookies, coarsely chopped
½ pkg. (3.5 oz.)
GOYA® Maria Cookies, coarsely chopped
½ cup
toasted almonds (skins on)
¼ cup
raw pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
¼ cup
finely chopped dried apricots
¼ cup
dried cranberries
Six 3-oz. silicone chocolate-bar molds
Step 1
Place chopped chocolate in heat-safe bowl set over saucepan of barely simmering water and heat, stirring frequently, for 4 to 6 minutes or until chocolate is smooth and melted.
Step 2
Pour chocolate into silicon molds, leveling off with offset spatula. Top each bar with chopped cookie pieces, almonds, pumpkin seeds, apricots and cranberries.
Step 3
Let stand until chocolate sets and hardens.
Step 4
Carefully remove from molds and wrap as desired.
Substitute nuts, seeds and dried fruit as desired. Alternatively, use lined muffin cups as molds for chocolate cookie bar rounds.
For holiday chocolate bars, add holiday sprinkles and crushed candy canes, and package with ribbons for holiday gifts.
Alternatively, use good-quality chocolate pellets or wafers for faster preparation.
Substitute dark chocolate with milk chocolate if preferred.
