Easily prepare this Flavorful Rice and Beans Bowl at home. This recipe is made with convenient and tasty GOYA® Pinto Beans and GOYA® Black Beans seasoned with a succulent combination of onions, garlic, peppers, tomato sauce and rich spices. To serve, take out a bowl and layer the bean mixture on top of rich and fluffy CANILLA® Extra Long Grain Rice. Mmm... delicious!

GOYA® Reduced Sodium Powdered Chicken Flavored Bouillon, prepared (makes 1 cup broth)

orange juice

GOYA® Lime Juice
1 can (15.5 oz.)
GOYA® Pinto Beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15.5 oz.)
GOYA® Black Beans, drained and rinsed
Topping and accompaniments

Frozen GOYA® Ripe Plantains or GOYA® Fried Plantains – Tostones. Cook according to package directions

Step 1
Cook rice according to package directions; stir in cilantro. Keep warm.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp. oil in large saucepan set over medium-heat; cook onion, red pepper, garlic, tomato paste, chili powder and seasoning for 3 to 5 minutes or until slightly softened.
Step 3
Stir in broth, orange juice and lime juice; bring to boil. Stir in pinto and black beans. Reduce heat to low; cook for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Divide rice among bowls. Top with bean mixture, plantains and avocado. Garnish with green onions.
