Simply marinate the wings in convenient GOYA® Mojo Criollo Marinade with GOYA® Sazón with Coriander and Annatto, and brown sugar. Then, toss them with olive oil and Adobo and place them on the grill at medium heat. Once they’re ready, pair them with a delicious creamy sauce made with chipotle peppers and cashews. Yum!
Chipotle Cashew Sauce
1 cup
raw cashews
2 tbsp.
GOYA® Lime Juice

pepper, finely chopped, plus 1 tbsp. sauce from 1 can GOYA® Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
2 tbsp.
finely chopped fresh cilantro
Grilled BBQ Chicken Wings
4 lbs.
split chicken wings
1 tsp.
brown sugar

stalks celery, cut into sticks (optional)
Step 1
Chipotle Cashew Sauce: Soak cashews in 1/2 cup water, lime juice and adobo seasoning for at least 4 hours or up to overnight.
Step 2
Grilled BBQ Chicken Wings: Meanwhile, toss together chicken wings, mojo criollo, Sazón and brown sugar; cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight. Remove chicken wings from marinade, discard marinade. Toss together chicken wings, oil and Adobo seasoning.
Step 3
In blender, purée cashews and soaking liquid, chipotle, adobo sauce and oil until smooth and creamy, adding up to 2 tbsp. water if needed for desired consistency. Stir in cilantro.
Step 4
Preheat grill to medium heat, grease grate well. Grill wings, turning occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is golden brown, skin is crisp and instant-read thermometer inserted into center reaches internal temperature of 165˚F.
Step 5
Serve chicken wings with chipotle cashew sauce and celery.
Note: Serve chicken wings with grilled corn, and celery sticks for dipping, if desired.
